The design of the area around metro stations addresses the need for a convenient, pleasing environment for all types of users, including visitors, metro commuters, and residents of adjacent territories. The core idea behind the projects Changarski Bulvar is the separation of the main transit pedestrian zones and bicycle routes from secondary walking paths that perform different tasks depending on the of nearby programs or buildings. The proximity to the metro has its indirect effect, activating public areas, enabling social interactions, making the territory lively and important. In the areas with densely placed residential buildings, projects provide additional park areas, benches, playgrounds, and other programs suitable for the local users. Furthermore, the areas will be equally friendly and attractive for all age groups, from children to teenagers to the elderly, thanks to the various programs throughout the territory. As a result, this entire zone, in addition to supporting and regulating pedestrian traffic, can function as an urban park.
